I understand that when starting over, muscles feel stiffer than they used to and it’s normal to feel sore after working out since the muscles haven’t been used in a while.
But how normal is normal when it comes to muscle pain after working out?
Yes, I felt the burn while working out. After my first day of starting over, my abs (somewhere underneath the fat) and my upper back felt sore. I didn’t mind because I am out of shape.
It hasn’t been a week since I’ve started over. Today, I don’t feel any soreness on my abdomen. Strange, because I did ab work and core strengthening workout after cardio.
Should I do more reps or do more core strengthening workouts?
