Ever since Isla learned to roll over and crawl, my husband and I would wake up to little feet kicking our hips or little hands on our face.
Today was not an exception. Even if she woke up crying every few hours last night, she woke up before I did when the sun was up, crawling in bed, full of energy. I wanted to sleep a few more minutes before starting the day, but she won’t have any of it.
So here we are. sitting at the table. She’s a bundle of energy in her seat, filling her mouth with pieces of muffin.
Me? Light-headed. But filled with so much love and admiration for how this little girl is growing.
